Principle
of Duality

In
the past three issues of The Newsline, we have been
presenting the Kabalarian concept of life--what is meant
by the Principle of life and how the Principle can be
understood through a study of the duality of life.
Reality
of Being
The term,
Reason of
Being, as described in the last issue, defines
the greater invisible power of life that is responsible
for life itself in its physical sense. The reason of
being is the motivating intelligence behind life,
working through life, whereas the reality of being is
the expression of reason in some practical, tangible way
that comes within the realm of our ability to
understand. We learn by using various forms of
measurement and applying measurement to reality, which
allows an understanding of the reason behind an aspect of
life or the reason for it, the reason of
it, the reason within it.
Reality
of being is the aspect of life that has come within the realm of understanding. In the dark ages,
Western man knew only of Europe, the Mediterranean, and
the Middle East. That was virtually the end of his
world and the rest of the world had no reality in his
mind. The world was believed to be flat and ships
sailing too far would fall off the edge of the
Earth. There was no reality beyond a short
distance over the ocean. Of course, after a period
of time and discovery, it became understood that the
Earth was round and in orbit around the sun rather than
the centre of the universe. As analysis took place
and the reality of life was brought within
understanding, the greater reason behind it all was
recognized. For instance, the changing position of the
sun in the sky and the pattern of the seasons took on an
intelligent interpretation when related to the
twenty-three degree slant of the Earth.
In becoming aware of an aspect of reality,
we can piece
together the reason working within it. We discover
our greater potential through the logical
development of understanding the reality. Reality is the basis for discovery.
Consider
the gardener planting a pansy seed. What colour
pansy is in the seed? To this day, it is not
possible to determine the colour. Naturally, there must be a
genetic link and perhaps someday we will be able to
split the seed open and put it under an electron
microscope to isolate the particular genetic code that
represents a purple pansy. At present, however,
the gardener does not even know what is in the seed; he
does not know if it will grow. He plants it,
waters it, gives it sunshine and moisture, and reality
grows. He then discerns what he could not
see. He measures the pansy plant for its colour,
size, shape of blossom, etc. He learns of the
power within the seed by studying the result from the
seed.
Through
this process is discovered most of the understanding of
life, by measuring, relating, postulating, and
theorizing. Theories have been
the explanation of the intelligence of reality.
The intelligence of reasoning gives us the
conclusion or the understanding of the power behind
life, the reason for being.
Religions
throughout the ages have sought to answer the various
questions about life--where we come from, where we are
going, what power controls disasters such as floods and
famines that destroy people. We ask, "What
is it that does all this to us? There has to be
some great power." So people pray to the sun
god, to the rain god, to the goddess of fertility, to
the goddess of harvest, and so on. Various
attempts have been made to reason out the invisible
unknowable force. By attaching concepts of gods
and goddesses, people strove for an understanding of the
power working through life.
With
greater discovery, various principles were re-discovered
to explain many phenomena. An understanding of
this phenomena was arrived at and they were no longer
mysteries, but facts of life. Life became factual
as the reason explained it. In the same way,
reason and reality are related to the cause of life and
life itself.

month another aspect of the duality principle will be
discussed--cause and effect.

Happiness in Home Life
is a State of Mind
Very few couples have a definite goal of the pattern and personal steps that
lead to mental compatibility.
Either person feels that because he or
she is happy the partner should feel the same. It
all hinges upon the old question, "Am I my
brother's keeper?"
You must remember that no
one can make you happy. It is all the same
thing: the state of mind. Some people could
never make you happy no matter what they did; you would
not want them to do anything. You would not want
anything to do with them so they could not make you
happy, in any case. Other people because of their
viewpoint make you very happy. Why?
It is a
state of mind. It is as well to remember that no
one can make you happy, for happiness is a state of your
own mind. No matter what others may do, it is not
to be expected they can make you happy if you do not
desire their attention. It brings it back to
self.
First, be happy in your own mind and
thoughts and then endeavour to share that happiness with
the one you love, and in a measure, with all people.
When you are happy you share it and then the other
person receives that happiness, for sharing is the
happiness.
Mental happiness is one
of the highest attainments one can possess, for without
mental happiness all other things are worthless.
The state of your mind is your life, thoughts, actions,
and experience. If you are always desirous of
giving, then many of the common misunderstandings will
be removed from your life.
Love is complete
giving. There is no other alternative. If
you are not happy, change your thinking and perfect
it. This lesson not only applies to married life
but to any association. Love and service always
command respect.
Too little do people realize the
joy of service and giving, and the extreme congeniality
in working with others. This is the beauty of
unity with such joy and understanding. Why not
carry this spirit always in the home, in one's personal
life and affairs? Do not say, "This is your work or
this is my work." This can only be a thankless task
that could separate rather than create an enduring love
of association.

BENITO, POWELL, FOSTER, ADAMS, PORTER, FORBES,
DESMOND, VIOLET, CATHERINE, DIANA, ISOBELL, SARAH,
MARIAN, CECELIA, ADRIAN, HEATHER, VANA, NADIA
Extremely sensitive,
understanding, generous, and emotional, these people
dread to witness hurt feelings and sordid
conditions. They go to great lengths to avoid
confrontations as they have a strong desire to work with
people and to create harmony in associations. They
are the peacemakers and tend to be somewhat
passive. They desire to meet and mix with people,
to understand others, and to help them in the solution
of their problems. They make friends easily and
enjoy sociability and the good things of life.
They must guard against revealing confidences because
others tend to open up to them and tell them things they
may not tell others.
Deep within, they also
recognize that they need lots of encouragement and
assurance in their undertakings. They do not like
to stand alone unless they have other qualities that
offset this trait. As a result, they are affected
greatly by their environment and their
associations. They tend to go into partnerships in
business, or if on their own, they like to tell others
of their plans so that others give them the confidence
and encouragement and this helps to strengthen their own
convictions. However, it can also work the other
way. Others can dissuade them very easily
too. They lack confidence in many ways. They
must be careful of the good-time types or stronger
personalities who could drag them down into not so
constructive situations. Again, because of
their desire for harmony, they won't stand up and say
"no" and mean it and they tend to let others
take advantage of them. They are the dreamers and
idealists and love to be made a fuss of. They have
smooth and appealing personalities--witty, friendly,
tactful, and very obliging. Often they will help
others and neglect their own duties.
Being extremely
intuitive, they often sense and even feel through their
nervous systems, the problems of others. This is
where they can excel because they can offer very good
advice to assist others. They must find a balance
and not allow the problems of others to be too
internalized and taken on as their own.
These people love music,
art, and drama, and desire and appreciate luxurious
surroundings. They do not like to rough it because
they long for relaxation, peace, and harmony.
They tend to
procrastinate, letting things slide until forced to take
action. Budgeting is a challenge at times.
They enjoy having the good things of life.
Through tension, health
weaknesses tend to centre in the fluid functions of the
body such as kidney or bladder weakness or poor
circulation of the blood.

Questions
Many times the
question is asked why certain names have the same
meaning such as Rob and Ross or Adam and Arlene, or Jill
and Trini. This is explained on our home page at
http//www.kabalarians.com/your.htm.
It is also covered in our various home study courses and
in the Name Report service where we prepare in-depth
analyses of all names used.
Every letter of the
alphabet has its own specific mathematical value and
character, which is its intelligence. In the
Kabalarian Philosophy, we regard numbers and letters as
forms of intelligence rather than practical
symbols. A name creates a chord of intelligence
through the letters that make up the name.
Sometimes different names
work out to the same mathematical combination. Language is the basis of human thought and uses
an alpha-numeric system represented by the alphabet of
any language and the mathematical sequence from one to
nine.
Every name is made of
these symbols or letters. Each letter in the alphabet
has a mathematical position (i.e., A in the first
position, B in the second position, C, the third,
D the fourth, and so on). Each mathematical position of
every letter allows that letter to express a particular,
unique quality of intelligence. There are nine basic
qualities that are repeated throughout the alphabet,
for example, A is in the first position. J and S are
also in the first position; B is in the second position
as well as K and T, and so on throughout the alphabet.
Letters blended in a name create qualities or chords of
intelligence with various desires, attitudes, and
traits.
Therefore, there are
names that have the same combination but have different
vowels, such as Nancy and Ellen. The reason is that the
two e's in Ellen are in the fifth position and when added
together and reduced to a single digit expresses the
same quality as the "a" in Nancy. Ellen and Nancy
would have similar characteristics.
One's full personality is
described in a detailed Name Report. The Name Report
describes the first name, any nicknames, last name, and
the date of birth.
