Thought for the Day

When viewing or thinking a thought, always clarify it for the value of its logic and reason; divest it of imagination, mystery, and all falseness; see the clear intent, whether constructive or otherwise, and never compromise with illogicality; a statement is, or is not. See it for what it really is, and do not attempt to clothe it with personality; this is what so often leads to jumping to conclusions and self-pity.

Your Name Affects Your State of Health

Are you one of the individuals who are living day by day under the druggist's care and who has fallen into the trap of looking for your health through vitamins and herbs alone? Or are you searching for the key to the balance between your physical body and mind through the natural laws of life?

In this age with its fast tempo everyone is faced with the same problem, that is, time—not enough of it or not knowing how to use it properly. With the advent of artificial and chemical additives, and quick frozen meals, the general public is consuming too much food that has been chemically treated to give it a long shelf life but which can be hazardous to the health. As we observe the degree of sickness in the world, it seems vitally necessary to take a more serious look at this problem and discover a natural way of eating. We recognize that nutritious food is vitally necessary to the proper functioning of the body, but does food have the greatest bearing upon one’s health.

Physical Laws—Their Importance

The physical growth should be a natural unfoldment of the intelligence seeded within the body through the physical laws. However, due to complications and interferences the body does not always develop properly. Babies are being fed canned, processed vegetables and meat; the chemical additives which may preserve the food for a longer period of time are most often extremely detrimental. In recent years greater investigation is proving that meat, sugars, and refined foods are detrimental to the normal functioning of the body and create many of the major diseases known today. Thus a change in one’s eating habits is one of the requirements to allow greater health and vitality in the body. Yet, let us not swing too far along the opposite trend and become overly food conscious.

We once heard of a person who became so health conscious that he devoted a great deal of this time to the study of health foods and when traveled he even carried a portable refrigerator so that he could preserve his special dietary needs. Much to his friend’s shock and disillusionment the gentlemen passed away with cancer several years later. This left the observer questioning the value of eating the so-called natural health foods. How could such a tragedy happen if one disciplines one’s eating habits to such a degree that the body is being fed only a natural, vegetarian diet?

The Mental Law—Its Effect

This brings into the picture another law which is vitally important in our understanding of how to create health, and that is the mental law. Knowing how one’s thinking has an effect is a key in solving one’s problems. It is a known fact that regardless of the quality of food eaten, one’s mental balance or discord can alter the food’s chemical structure to a poisonous state. Thus we see a need to understand what created the reaction in one’s body.

Have you ever stopped to wonder about the differences in people: why some individuals are passive in nature and love ice-cream, whipping cream, and pastries whereas another is more high-strong, nervous, and intense, perhaps enjoying the same food, and then a third type who would rather die than give up his meat and potatoes? There is a reason for this and it can be answered through a study of human mind.

Name and Health

How mind is created is a mystery to many, yet to a student of the Kabalarian Philosophy the answer can be told by one word—name. A study of the effect of a name upon an individual reveals the cause of sickness and disease. We recognize the importance of eating a balanced diet, but even by eating properly a person can suffer sickness if his mind, created by the name, is not in harmony with its instrument, the body. How is mind understood? Potential weaknesses and sickness can be determined through an analysis of one’s name because the physical body is a reflection of one’s thinking. Remember, the desire for certain foods must be in one’s thinking first—the basic cause lies in the mind. Health can be maintained or regained through study and application of the physical and mental laws. It is not natural to suffer, but suffering is a natural result of not knowing how one’s thinking creates wrong desires and habits.

Creating the Balance

Tension is a number one killer. Yet it is a result of discord between the mind and body; balance, then, is the opposite. A balanced mind and body can be created through establishing a balanced name and principles of proper thinking and eating habits through balanced, moderate desires.

Listed below are a few names to illustrate how a health weakness is related to the influence of various names. Please note that the examples are of first names only. The surname, the influence of the combined names, and the date of birth can modify or intensify the degree of balance or discord in a person’s body. A full analysis of one’s name and birth date would denote the degree of balance, health, and success, or discord, sickness and failure.

Create Your Own Happiness and Health

Happiness, health, and success should be everyone’s birthright. If the answer were to be found in the medicine cabinet or bought from the druggist then sickness would be on the decrease instead of the increase. Take this opportunity to look further into the physical and mental laws and discover how your name and your dietary habits can be altered and balanced to create your own happiness and health.
